Jobs

A full service is the all-round check for a bike that has been ridden hard or left too long. We come to you in Bristol, go over the whole bike, and put right what needs it. Brakes, gears, wheels and moving parts all get attention. You are left with a bike that rides smoothly and safely, without a trip to a shop. Work comes with a 3-month guarantee, and the person doing it brings 12 years of bike shop experience.

The visit

How your full service goes on the day

  1. Bike comes out

We meet you and the bike where it is kept, and you tell us how it has been riding and what has been bothering you.

  2. Full check over

Every system gets a look in turn: brakes, gears, wheels, chain and fixings. We note what is fine and what needs work.

  3. Adjust and repair

We fix what the check turned up and tune the rest, explaining each job in plain words so you know what changed.

  4. Test ride and handover

We test the bike, tidy up and hand it back ready to ride, with a clear summary of what was done.

Questions

Full service questions, answered before you book

Ask us something else

What is the difference between a full service and a quick fix?

A quick fix deals with one problem, such as a puncture or a slipping gear. A full service looks at the whole bike, including brakes, gears, wheels and chain, so small faults are caught before they turn into bigger ones. It suits a bike that has not been checked for a while.

Which bikes can you service?

Road bikes, hybrids and commuter bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes and kids' bikes. Pick the type on the quote form and describe how the bike has been riding. If your bike is something else, choose Other and tell us about it.

Where does the service happen?

At your door, wherever the bike is kept, in Bristol and BS postcodes within about 10 miles. Put your location or postcode in the quote form so we can check the bike is in our area.

Is the work guaranteed?

Yes. All work carries a 3-month guarantee. The work is done by someone with 12 years of bike shop experience who is Cytech Level 2 qualified. Request a quote and tell us what the bike needs.
